The more you know, the better.

There are some key differences between the types of brow services we offer. Getting better informed on each service will help you make a decision on which is best for you, your brow goals and lifestyle. If you are still unsure after reading about the differences on Microblading, Microshading, and Nano Brows, we can discuss it further in person.

Natural hair-like strokes on different folks

Microblading has grown to be largely popular over the last few years! So what is it? Microblading is a method of semi-permanent tattooing in which we take a hand held Microblading tool (a pen like stick with a little blade at the end) dip it in pigment and create little strokes in the skin that resembles natural hair. This treatment is ideal for anyone who is looking to enhance their existing brows, have little brow hair, and/or are looking for a more defined and symmetrical result and have normal – dry skin.

So what should you expect when coming in for your appointment?

If you have not had a consultation prior, we will go over the process from start to finish that way you have a clear understanding of what will happen before moving forward.

When coming in for your appointment, we take before photos and then begin to measure. The measurements are done using a compass that determines where your natural brow should begin, where the arch should be and where your brow tail should end based on your face and your eyes. Then, we create a shape that follows your natural brow, and frames your brow bone. Once shape has been drawn out, you will see the outline and once you approve, we will begin!

Service Time: 2 - 2½ Hours

Cost: $550 (Complimentary 8-10 Week Touch-Up Included)
Ideal Skin Type: Dry/Normal

*Results last 1-3 years depending on aftercare/lifestyle

Microblading, but BOLDER

Now that you have gotten a better understanding of the Microblading process (above), Microshading is pretty much a technique that COMBINES Microblading and machine/manual shading. So what does shading mean? Shading is the process in which either a machine, or manual tool are used to shade the skin in between the Microblading strokes in order to create a fuller, bolder look. Instead of seeing natural skin in between the artificial hair strokes we have created with just Microblading, the shading adds color to the skin in between the strokes and is done at the very end of the appointment, after all of the Microblading strokes have been created! Microshading is ideal for anyone who is looking to enhance their existing brows, have little brow hair, and/or are looking for a more defined and symmetrical result and have more oily skin. Though, it is suitable for ALL skin types as well!

The less invasive version of Microblading

Nano Brows have definitely been the latest buzz. While with Microblading, we use a blade to create those hair-like strokes, Nano Brows do not require the use of a blade, but instead a machine with a very fine needle is used to create feathery strokes. Therefore, there is no cutting involved. It is suitable for ALL skin types as well!
